By looking at the GH spoilers one would think that Sonny and Mike fell through a black hole. I think there is one Sonny mention for the next week. There are times when Sonny isn't mentioned in the spoilers but is on the show however last week he remained elusive on the canvas. His scenes with Max Gail, however, were powerful. Maurice's ability to convey emotion without a lot of dialogue is put to good use in these scenes. And the lack of dialogue is what makes these scenes so compelling. These scenes are also intense which may be why they are short. They wear the viewer out, emotionally, and I'm sure performing these scenes also wear out Maurice and Max Gail. Still, it's an important story line and it would be of public service to show Mike's degeneration into Alzheimer's in a cohesive way--not separated by days and days of other story lines. I have to add that for once the presence of Aunt Stella in these scenes were helpful and realistic. It's the first time in a long time that the character didn't annoy me. But there's always next week.

Oho! (I always wanted to use that word !) apparently the tumor wasn't enough to white wash the character of Freako so we are now adding a child abuse story line. These expensive forays into whitewashing characters could be put to better use elsewhere on the canvas. Speaking of white wash, the never ending carousel of excuses made for Wimpy pile up too. Why does GH try to redeem characters that are irredeemable ? Why don't they just let Freako be bad? Why not use Wimpy's story as a cautionary tale for women who get so caught up into the cycle of abuse they lose sense of themselves or in some cases end up dead? No, we are to be fed fairy stories about how these two characters are redeemable.

WTF ! Nelle is gas lighting Carly and Carly turns to...Jason? Why can't she turn to her husband? Because that would make too much sense? pfffffft.

The week of March 19-23 will bring tricky situations all over town. First, let’s talk about Ava (Maura West). It looks like she might get a hint about Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) scheme and wonder if her psycho assistant is crossing the line.

Ava will fear that this is getting out of hand, but she’ll probably keep her mouth shut. She knows Carly (Laura Wright) would just find a way to blame her for this as well. GH spoilers say Ava will also have a proposal for Griffin. She’ll have an idea that Griffin likes, so he’ll quickly get on board.

However, a dark secret will weigh on the good doctor. Thanks to a paternity test, Griffin will know that Peter (Wes Ramsey) is Heinrik. He’ll face quite a dilemma, but Griffin may decide to keep the secret for now. There’ll be time for spillage later!

Elsewhere, Liz (Rebecca Herbst) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) will focus on their mission. They’ll fight tirelessly for Franco (Roger Howarth) and Drew’s (Billy Miller) safe return. While the guys make it out alive, Kiki (Haley Erin) will find herself feeling uncomfortable with Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva). He’ll be creepy as usual, but Kiki will relax a bit when he offers a prestigious internship.

Unfortunately, it’ll be a mistake for Kiki to drop her guard. General Hospital spoilers say Dr. Bensch will kiss Kiki and she’ll be absolutely disgusted. She looked up to her mentor, but now she’ll view him as another jerk who abuses his position of power.

The week of March 26-30 will deliver even more shockers. GH fans will see Carly in desperate need of a friend. Nelle covered the scarf she ordered in soot and blood. Now it seems like it got caught in Morgan’s (Bryan Craig) explosion. Nelle will undoubtedly set it up so Carly stumbles across the horror, so Jason will have to offer support.

Across town, Peter will feel guilty about his deception. As he grows closer to Maxie, Peter will hate himself for lying to her. He’s done some terrible things, but he’ll hope he can redeem himself a bit by helping Maxie heal. Peter can’t risk everything by coming clean, so he’ll just have to press on.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Drew will open up to Curtis (Donnell Turner). Will he confess his fears about Sam? Drew may worry that he’s losing his wife and there’s nothing he can do about it. Later, Curtis will visit Sam to discuss something important. He might put in a good word for his pal and urge Sam to stand by her man.
