In 2007, the story of the Thanksgiving week was the culmination of the black and white ball.

Perhaps, the most memorable Thanksgiving story in the history of General Hospital is that written around the character of Stone in 1995. Stone was Robin’s first love. He was infected with HIV because he shared a needle with another person during drug use. As his condition worsened and his physical body began to deteriorate, it became clear to Sonny and Robin that he might not be alive to celebrate another Christmas. As such, Sonny and Robin celebrated Christmas for him on Thanksgiving so that Stone could have one last memory of the holiday. Closer to Stone’s death, Robin found that she too had contracted HIV. The story became legendary.

On November 27, 2007, political players gathered at the Annapolis Conference to discuss a framework to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with the intention to reach an agreement by the end of 2008.

In 2008, the Thanksgiving story with Stone was hinted at in the story of Sonny and Kate. Even though Stone’s name was not mentioned between Sonny and Kate, there was a hint of suggestion in September of 2008 with a possible foreshadowing to a possible concluding outcome or a happy ending, or beginning, to the story of Sonny and Kate. The story of Sonny and Kate reached a climax during the Thanksgiving of 2008; the anniversary of the Annapolis Conference.

The story of Sonny and Kate, in 2008, had a hint to possible humiliation and this was intertwined with the Thanksgiving story that year.

There are many details, controversies and questions about the course of story of Sonny and Kate in November of 2008 and that story is intertwined with the story of Stone; its implications and all possible interpretations.
