In December of 2007, Sonny and Kate were in a transition. It was after the black and white ball and Kate was struggling to find a balance between maintaining her career and having a relationship with Sonny. The possibility of a secret was an implicit component of their love story. Was there a deeper reason for why Kate was resisting?

After many back and forth conversations, Sonny and Kate declared their love for each other again and made love on December 12, 2007. Still, Kate could not make a commitment.

Kate left. A chapter was closed, and another chapter began to be written.

Fast forward to December 12, 2008, Sonny and Kate had a conversation in controversial scenes. It was the outcome of the thanksgiving story that could have concluded the story of Sonny and Kate with a “happy ending”. A story that could have been concluded with a love scene.

The thanksgiving story that had a connection with the story of Robin and Stone.

In the scenes, there was a hint of possible humiliation. Albeit the scenes were open to interpretation.

At that time in my life, I had many humiliating fantasies about myself, and I channeled out those thoughts towards the character of Kate in the autumn of 2008. Again, the question comes to mind: why was the story written this way and was there an anticipation that someone would interpret those scenes (on December 12, 2008) as foreshadowing humiliation?

General Hospital held its Christmas party on December 13, 2008, that year. Was this a tribute to the story of Stone?

Out there, events were taking shape on the international stage. Uncertainty was in the air. The events aligned as the story began to unfold on a path whose outcome and direction was to be determined in ways other than what was traditionally decided. A story that was written to, possibly, make change happen.

There should be an investigation into this story and why it was written the way it was.
