I suspect now that the writers and actors strikes are over, the Ryan's Murphy's Menendez Brother's mini-series is probably going to start shooting relatively soon. I can understand why GH doesn't want to start a central action storyline for Spencer unavailable for a few months in the near future.

But that is just conjecture.
