Every soap I have ever watched has had couples who would finally get together then one of them would be tempted by someone and the triangle would result in their break up. Then some time after the storyline ended, they would get back together, then the other partner would fall for someone.
It's like the only thing the soap could think to do with a couple is putting them in triangles.
This thing with Charlotte is a much more nuanced storyline and since it isn't the trite "another woman" situation, there will be a good opportunity for a great storyline to get them back together.
Soaps are about conflict, and a happy couple is usually a couple with no air time.
Knowing Anna and Valentin will probably end up together again, allows me to sit back and enjoy the ride since I think there is a good chance there will be payoff for Vanna.
