It was dumb. And he was walking towards her because he was seething with anger and yes I feel like it was a form of intimidation. Nina doesn’t have a crystal ball. There was no way she could know that 1. The judge would increase his sentence 2. Drew would be beaten up in prison. She faced them, confessed and owned what she did! Hate her all you want but that took balls. They were clearly going to find out VERY soon so she didn’t have to make that special trip but she did. Carly declared she will NEVER forgive Nina but to this day she won’t even concede that she should have handled things differently regarding Willow being Nina’s bio daughter. She thinks she did the right thing even though it clearly caused Nina pain—which was a bonus for Carly.
She admitted she was pissed at Carly and that was the driving force behind tipping off the SEC Nina, Ava, Ned and Martin are the only ones who have pointed out the obvious—they committed the crime. There was evidence hence the reason they were both charged.
Then it flipped to SEC working with FBI to get Sonny and then flipped to everyone and their Aunt Sally focusing on who was the tipster.
