if they are going to have a character do something out of character, suddenly change careers, or some other drastic change ... all I ask is that the show give some kind of justification for why the character(s) are forced to act out of character, etc.
I liked the fact that the Deception crew wasn't immediately thrilled Carly was in charge. Also, Carly did a good job explaining that she has just as much experience as Nina did when she took over the magazine ... and that she has experience being successful in career changes.
