representation would not want their client's face covered. That's just my educated guess though. I can't think of. I do know they used to be very strict with any major hair changes: cuts, color etc. You have to get permission to do it and you're in breach of contract otherwise.

When Keri Russell (Felicity) cut off her long curly locs, they made her wear an awful wig for a couple of episodes. And believe it or not, the network blamed season two ratings decline on the haircut. No lie! LOL.
