Years ago in exchange for her not testifying against him when he shot Nikolas. I wonder if he's blackmailing her with something now? Part of me thinks Ava is a red herring and she's not working with Valentin at all. But she'll be initially blamed for it given her history imo.

She encouraged Sonny to go off his meds years ago which led to him eventually killing AJ. And we all know what she did with Morgan's meds.
