She also called out the good that Sonny has done. Joss did none of that. She praises Jason and is oh so happy that he's back. But she hates Sonny and thinks he deserves to be in prison because he's a bad person. Hello? Jason is an enforcer who kills FOR Sonny and has done so for decades. There's no lens to look through that doesn't make take hypocritical. And not sure how many remember but when Lulu was a a baby, Laura threw Luke out after mobsters broke into their house and she had to shoot one with a shotgun. I am fine with what she told Anna today. It was all true. Sonny does in fact have a dark side. And the funny thing here is--I am just NOW watching the show now. When I responded to Jeff below--I hadn't even watched yet. I say that because from the moment Laura had that stern talk with Sonny weeks ago, I got it then, so this isn't out of nowhere. People are allowed to change their minds and also their perspective. People end friendships all the time. She saw it firsthand for herself.

Anna, I don't have the same perspective on because I truly do not recall if she was away from Robin by choice or to keep her safe. I know there was a ship that blew up or something and she showed herself to Robin on All My Children. To me, it would make way more sense for Anna to tell Sonny that their friendship has to end due to the fact that she is police commissioner. Which like I said about the mayor--the optics would be very bad.

Heck, mobsters should not have friends, wives or children. People die around them. Just ask Justus, Bill Ekert, Kristina (Alexis' sister), Morgan or Lily. They should be alone or just have girlfriends but never ever procreate LOL.
