Rebecca said she hasn't heard from TPTB since she left the show. IIRC, I know she was reluctant to sign a long term contract--which might be part of the reason here. I could see TPTB not wanting to bring her back if they have major stories planned and she would only agree to a year vs 2 or 3. We'd be right back in the same spot when she was ready to vacate again. As it is--the story they came up with to explain her absence was weak unless temporary.
She was completely devoted to Violet and it's crazy that they have this that she is now willingly staying away from her.
I loved the chemistry between RB and ME but for goodness sake, give that little girl by her mother. Even if they have to recast.
