to explain this. I can totally see Dante not knowing BLQ was knocked up with his baby but then that leaves BLQ knowingly giving Dante's kid away to someone or putting him up for adoption. Lois said Gio is the son of a close family friend. This is about to be a major plot point because this is what was said about Gio 7/17/24
Lois explains Gio's mother, Camila Cerullo, was a cousin from Italy and came to America to play for the Brooklynn Philharmonic. She was only here six months when she fell for Gio's dad, Francis Palmieri. She says they had a whirlwind romance and eloped right before he was deployed. Then she found out she was pregnant, but before she could tell Francis, he was killed in action.
I wonder if Lois' little halo about to be tarnished. If BLQ knew then she's awful. If BLQ didn't know and Lois made arrangments so that she could see her grandchild grow up--then perhaps this is the thing that sends her annoying, busy-body ass back to Bensenhurst! I don't mind Gio at all but I hate this idea!!!
