I don't care for the character but he is a good dad. I see the following scenarios:

A. Michael is kidnapped/goes missing
B. Michael leaves on an extended European biz trip
C. Presumed dead
D. Recast starts shortly after Chad's final airdate.

Regardless of the above scenarios--Michael Corinithos Quartermaine Corinthos is a character connected to 3 core families. They will not simply end this character.
