I knew he was on his way out! The tea leaves started to show his days were numbered. We have barely seen him and they are about to give Gio family ties 15 minutes after he arrived and Dex has been on 2.5 years.

Evan seems like a nice guy, but Dex just never clicked with majority of the audience. I wonder if he quit or they let him go. I would guess the latter.
