What happens to Charlotte if Valentin is arrested, killed in front of her ... or worse she is wounded or killed in the crossfire?

This is a soap so I I understand why they had to show Lulu tracking Charolette down. However, with the gunshot, Lulu needs to accept that while Charolette would be safer with her, going after Charolette while she's with Valentin puts her in even more danger now the bad guys now knowing Lulu should be followed if she leaves town.
