and all the deeply awful stuff he's done. I think it's fine to tell him to stay out of the hospital. Honestly, just the whole wandering the halls offering "religion" would have me telling him to stay away. Most big hospitals have a chaplain for people in need of spiritual support anyhow. No one needs the weirdo in the halls waving a Bible at them.
