I have nothing against the actor, but the writers have never really known what to do with the character. His early scenes with Tracy and especially his scenes with James were good for the character, but other than that he has mostly been hanging around waiting for a storyline, and when the moved Sasha on they had nothing left for him. Mac isn't on the show often enough for his being a Scorpio ending up with much air time.
He's been tredding water so long I'm no longer interested in watching him try to swim.
