Kristina and TJ could have been interesting, but since I started watching the show again a few years ago (towards the end of the Willow cult storyline), Kristina has been a minor character as was TJ. While both characters had a lot of secondary relationships, they rarely had scenes with them and when they did it was as background characters.
What's the point of breaking up TJ and Kristina if Kristina is going to be handed over to another background character!
I respect the actor who plays Cody, he has done what he can with the scattered, uneven storylines he has been given. But he has been put in such a deep hole for so long ... and for every step forward they give him (his scenes with Tracey and James) they have him take a couple of steps back.
If the show puts Kristina and Cody together, I will be shocked if they get out of background character hell.
Kristina can still be saved, but they need to give her something dynamic to do, not just throw another love interest with both characters at almost a complete stop.
