We all know he would have to drop the scalpel and rush to Sonny's side. It is beyond ridiculous that sonny refuses to go to the hospital.
Stupid is the word I'd use, but Sonny has never been the brightest crayon in the box. Remember all of the times he would go off to the Island for some R&R? All this simpleton has to do is put that story out there to his friends and family, but really go back to L.A. for the surgery. This was what the 6th attack? He's an imbecile. You don't want to appear weak to your enemies? What happens if you die from your heart condition you fool? We all remember Nixon Falls and how the banshee strolled in, wearing that white dress and K-Mart shoes. There would be a fight for his territory so why not choose the lesser of two evils (notice I didn't say smarter option) because he's too proud and remedial for that.
