AJ went immediately to find Sonny and knew just where to look.

In Alexis's appartment, she and Sonny were discussing Michael's future.

''But, Sonny,'' she argued, ''you're an infamous mob boss, and on top of that, you just had a man killed. No judge in the Western Hemisphere is going to grant you custody of Michael.''

''So you're saying this case is a loser?'' he asked calmly.

'''Fraid so,'' she said.

''Alexis, I thought you would have known me by now.'' He stood up and got in her face. ''The word 'loss' is not in Sonny Corinthos's vocabulary! Sonny Corinthos is not a loser, has never been a loser!''

''There's a first time for everything,'' she replied, undaunted.

''Well put, Alexis,'' said AJ, bursting in with a gun in his hand. He aimed at Sonny. ''Sonny Corinthos is about to lose something very dear to him.''

What happens next?
Alexis jumps in front of Sonny as AJ fires.
AJ is hit on the head from someone behind him.
