General Hospital Update for Friday, 13-May-2005

Wow! This is Friday the 13th. on General Hospital. I thought that today's show was somewhat funny. When Reese tried to take Sonny's statement , and Ric listened, it was pure FUN. This fan needed the comic relief. ALL in ALL, this scene was really inane.Sonny tried to explain how he had smothered AJ.Ric said: "That's a crock." Carly begs Sonny to leave the country with new Ids, etc.HE tells her No, but she pleads with Jason to help her. Michael has seen the news so he knows that Sonny is being held in jail for AJ's murder. Michael has a very vivid dream in red and white which clearly shows his putting a pillow over a struggling AJ's head.IS this 9 year old alarmed? Of course.Ric tells Reese that he knows that Sonny is covering for someone dear. He guesses that it is the LiTTLE MAN.I wonder if Michael did really kill his biological father.It may not be what it appears to be.I am wondering......
Emily asks Luke some very painful questions about how Laura stayed with him after she was raped by him. This conjured up very painful memories so he told EM to get lost.Luke's love for Laura is ruining his chance to love again.. perhaps, Skye.EM tells Nic that she wants to exorcize Connor from that room where she was brutually abused-raped. AT first, she sees Connor in Nicholas, but then, a loving ,understanding Nicolas burns the room. Is this a catharsis for Em? Perhaps so, but I do wish she would see the attractive new psychiatrist or psychologist.This is such an important facet of this show, isn't it?
Sam tells Jason that she is so afraid to get the pregnancy test for fear she will not be with child.She wants to dream a while. Speaking of babies, Christina and her mom Alexis look at the ultrasound of her baby-to-come. Ric does come to view this, but he doesn't want to know the baby's gender. Ric tells Alexis that she is not whom he thought she was. She wants him to come home, but he tells her..NOT NOW. She has hurt him too much with her lies and schemes. John is discovered taking a bribe so he has been given a desk job. He is furious with Alexis for telling Ric.He demands to have Ric's job. Oh ME!
Today Reese told Sonny that she cares for him. He did not reply.Does he love this new self-centered Carly? Sam tells Carly that Jason cannot protect her forever.Sam says: " HE has others to care for now." Way to go Sam!
After Jason's conversation with Michael, Carly tells Jason that she and Michael must leave the country before Mikey finds out that he is his dad's killer. Guess who is peeking and listening to this statement.It's been a day of revelation for these confused people so tune in on Monday to see how the plot unravels.
