General Hospital Update for Thursday, 7-Jul-2005

First, I would like to congratulate our Dancing Queen Kelly/Sam). She is a natural mover, and I pulled for her all the way. WAY TO GO, KELLY!Actually, General Hospital was very realistic today. Psychologically speaking, Dr. Thomas is a good shrink for Michael. However, as he digs for the truth ,he seems to like Sam, perhaps, a little too much. Justis tells this to an already dubious Jason. The lovely female shrink has shared this bit of info with Justis. When Dr. Thomas tells Sam that Jason is incapable of loving anyone, Sam sees red, and tells him differently. When she sees Jason, she tells him what the doc has said. A kind Jason tries to reassure Sam of his deep feelings for her.He says: "I could care less what DR. Thomas thinks."For some reason, Jason dislikes DR. Thomas immensely. In the meantime, Michael asks Sonny to go to see Dr. Thomas, and of course, he does. Carly joins him. When Sonny tells the shrink about Michael's temper tantrum-- his rage, Carly volunteers that Sonny is like this. When the doc asks Sonny when did his rage begin, Sonny says :" When my stepdad beat the h out of me." Dr. Thomas points out that abused adults often abuse their little ones too. Sonny quickly defended himself by saying that he had NEVER hit Michael or a woman. Sonny's defensiveness arises when the goood doctor seems to be interrogating him.Sonny says: " I thought we were here to talk about our son Michael." Dr. Thomas points out that Carly is an enabler to Sonny.OH YES>>>. This is a believable scenario for GH. One hopes it will continue until Michael gets the psychological help he needs. Thank you writers!Maxie and Jessie are hiding out. Maxie learns that Jess has really endured a difficult life. HE lost his brother Will in a gang thing sooooooo.Jessie's scars are deep.. physically and psychologically, and he almost clams up. Yet, Maxie has a sweet way with him, and he trusts her.
Lucky is irate with Liz because she accepted a toy for Cameron from Jax. I guess Lucky's anger stems from a source of false pride or something. HE is still not really happy about Liz's unselfish act of surrogacy for Courtney and Jax..Liz wants Lucky to chill and let her do this for them.HE owes so much for his medical bills.
Alcazar demands that the Quartermaines attend his wife Carly's cocktail soiree. He threatens to withhold his monetary help for General Hospital if they do not go. Also, he tells them, in no uncertain terms, that they had better support Carly and give her the respect she deserves. Skye says : " It must be wonderful to be loved that much." Luke looks on with disdain. When is he going to reciprocate Skye's love? This facet of GH is dragggggging.Come on, Luke!Ha
A little Jodie has returned to see a puzzled Michael and me.I don't get this! Yet, a REAL little blonde did hide from Sam when she went to see Michael. PLEASE TUNE IN TOMORROW TO CATCH THE LATEST.PS. I like to see others write up dates soooooo.
