Maxie goes to find Dillon and asks why it is that Jesse is not interested in her. He tells her that Jesse is an idiot and she should realize any guy would want her. She then tells him he’s dating the wrong sister. Noticing Dillon and Maxie at the pizza shop, Georgie’s boss tells them that he trusts Georgie. It’s her friends he has a problem with. Maxie tells them she’s not going to give up on Jesse unless there is a good reason. Dillon tells her there are many reason. One, he’s much older. Two, he’s a jerk. But she does not listen.
Georgie notices Jesse sitting with another girl. She looks like the good little waitress who will serve them and goes and "accidentally" drops a basket of greasy food in the girl's lap. Again, the dude at the diner overlooks Georgie’s “CHOICE” to disrupt the joint. He tells Maxie and Dillon that Georgie is the perfect employee. But they are trouble. Jesse’s “companion” informs them that she is an undercover cop who is working on a case with Jesse.
Maxie apologizes to Jesse and his “partner” about what happened. The girl tells her she hopes Maxie’s “allowance” will pay for the dry cleaning. He tells her that she saw something she knew nothing about. And because she didn’t like it, she threw a temper tantrum and had her little sister do her dirty work. It looks like Georgie wants her boss to fire her. But he refuses.
Georgie tells Jesse that he looks down his nose upon her sister, publicly humiliates her, makes her cry and feel like dirt. But she was old enough and mature enough and important enough to put her own life on the line in order to help him when he was on the run. She tells him that if he cannot respect Maxie, that is his problem.
Jesse goes to find Maxie. He tells her she is one of the strongest people he has ever met. She did so much for him. She helped him clear his name and is not afraid to express how she feels. She tells him she will stop bugging him. She knows that’s what he wants. He tells her that’s the last thing he wants. And he kisses her.
Right when Emily and Nikolas are kissing, Courtney notices them and spies. When he leaves, Emily can tell that somebody is there and asks who is there. Courtney comes out and Emily asks what she’s doing there. Courtney explains to Emily that she and Nikolas just kind of ran into each other, by accident and are nothing more than two strangers sharing their personal problems. Emily asks if that means that they have identified her as “the problem”. She tells Courtney that she loves Nikolas. Courtney tells Emily that she loves Jax. But Emily asks Courtney what her (Courtney’s) feelings are for her (Emily’s) husband. Emily tells Courtney that perhaps we should all learn to trust destiny. Just then, Nikolas enters. Courtney leaves them alone. Emily tells him that she believes that Courtney is a genuinely nice person. His phone rings. I guess it’s Jax who needs to address the concerns he has about Lucky.
After Jax has taken Elizabeth home after her car breaks down, it looks like he wants to help her around the house. He plays with Cameron. She tells him she’s fixing Lucky’s favorite dinner. She seems to appreciate his help telling him were it not for him, she’s still be stranded and waiting for a tow truck. He feels her belly and looks real comfortable with her. Right then, Lucky enters and does not look happy. Elizabeth puts Cameron in bed, leaving Lucky and Jax alone to argue. Lucky tells Jax that after a long day of working hard, he just wanted to be able to come home and spend some time with his wife (fiancé?). But Jax has made that impossible once again. Elizabeth comes out and explains that Jax really helped her out today. But he does not seem to care. Jax leaves. Elizabeth asks Lucky if he’s done with his tantrum. She explains that she spent the day working, going shopping, getting everything ready to have dinner with him. And her car broke down. He asks why she called Jax. She tells him that she planned on having dinner with him tonight. She wasn’t about to drag everything home from a bus stop. She drove her car. It broke down. And she called Jax because she’s pregnant and she’s tired and she had no choice. He then puts his arms around her and apologizes.
Elizabeth prepares dinner for Lucky. He tells her he knows he’s been a jerk. She tells him they should just enjoy dinner. There’s no damage done. He tells her it just set him off when he saw that guy’s (Jax) hand on her stomach. He admits that he has a real problem with Jax. And he’s just making it worse for her. He knows he must do something in order to help her. So he’s going to move out. He gets ready to pack and leave. Elizabeth tells him she doesn’t want him to leave. He tells her that as soon as Courtney and Jax get their baby, he will move back in. He tells her he knows he’s no good for her like this. He wants things to go back to the way they were when they first moved in. He tells her he will not ruin the one thing he loves the most. That is the very reason why his father always disappears. He tells her he’s moving out tonight.
Elizabeth cries and asks Lucky why he has to leave tonight. He tells her because if he does not, he might change his mind. He tells her she will always been in his life. He plans to be there for the duration. She says so does she. She asks where he plans to go. He tells her he will go to Kelly’s for a while, maybe stay at Windermere temporarily. He will pay his share of the bill. He asks her if living with him and his attitude for the next 8 months will help her or the baby. He admits to her that every time he sees Jax, he wants to punch him. And he knows he cannot put her through that. She keeps urging him to stay. But he tells her that he is doing this so that he and she and Cameron can be a family. He tells her he loves her and leaves. She cries.
Jax invites Nikolas to his home and tells him that he knows there is a “situation”. And if Nikolas does not stop that, he will. Jax tells Nikolas that he is very concerned about Lucky’s behavior and hostility. It’s not good for the baby. Nikolas tells Jax he cannot get involved in his brother’s business. Jax tells Nikolas that he will do that himself if necessary. Emily is alone waiting for Nikolas to come home while Nikolas is at Jax’s. After hearing Jax’s concerns about Lucky, Nikolas tells Jax that his brother is one of the most reasonable people he knows. He hopes that Jax will some day see that. He tells him he will go and talk to Lucky and leaves. Alone with Jax, Courtney tells him she’s really tired of his constant fights with Lucky and she goes out the door angrily.
Alan returns the “secret letter” in the envelope to the place behind the brick outside the house where he secretly keeps it.
Dr. Thomas walks in on Jason and Sam while they are searching through his files and finding evidence that has obviously been destroyed. He tells them he will call the police on them for breaking and entering. But Jason pulls a gun on him. He manages to push him up against the wall. Dr. Thomas tells Jason that with Rachel Adair’s suicide confession that she killed AJ, that at least, puts Michael in the clear. Sam urges Jason to know that that is true. Jason grabs the tape and they leave. When they return home, he tells her she must go to Sonny’s and try to convince them that Michael could not have really seen Rachel murder AJ. He gets angry and stressed. He might just want to push her out the door so she cannot “see something”. He calls his computer-dude friend to see if he can get anything useful from the tape. He tells the guy that he doesn’t have a lot of time. He wants to know about the drugs that he might use or whatever. The guy agrees to get them after they’ve been tested but urges Jason to be careful. Sam leaves.
Alone in his apartment, Jason sits at his desk and opens a box with a secret potion and a needle. Sam returns and catches him with that “lethal” stuff. She asks if he plans to shoot up. He tells her it’s just something that could possibly enable him to remember. She is very worried and demands to know where he got it. He explains that the dug company called him about it a while back and said he would be the right candidate for that with the type of brain injury he had. He explains that he first declined it but now must at least try the stuff. She tells him it’s only experimental. The stuff could kill him or cause him to slip into another coma. She tells him she loves him and won’t let him do this. He explains to her that he takes the same risk every time he goes to work and tells her he’s only doing this in order to help Michael.Alan returns the “secret letter” in the envelope to the place behind the brick outside the house where he secretly keeps it.
Sam tells Jason that Michael may never know what the real story is about AJ’s death. But he tells her that they cannot let him live with the guilt. He knows it’s happened to Sonny. He knows it’s happened to him. He knows it’s happened to her when she was pregnant, remembering that she never had a mom to raise her and help her learn how to be a mother. She blamed herself. He can’t let something like that happen to Michael. He tells her he must find out Dr. Thomas’ motive for killing AJ. She tells him she’s asking him, if he loves her, please, she’s begging him, don’t do this! He tells her she knows he loves her. She concludes that she hates this. But all the reasons for why he is doing this are all the reasons why she loves him. She goes upstairs. Alone, he takes out the needle syringe and is ready to inject himself.
It looks like Jason has injected himself and it’s taking affect. Sam comes down and notices he is not ok. She tells him she will call the doctor. She searches for the drug bottle and asks him how much he took. She is very panicked. He doesn’t seem to know where he put the bottle. But he seems to have a vision of seeing Dr. Thomas ready to inject him when he was in the hospital, after his accident. He then remembers both Alan Quartermaine and Dr. Thomas injecting something into his IV bag. She asks him if he remembers something. He tells her: ”He did it”. She asks what is going on. But he goes out the door without telling her.
Jason goes to see Alan and Monica. He tells Alan he “knows” something. He’s known from the start. He demands to know where his brother is. Alan tells him AJ is dead. Jason pulls a gun on him and starts to have some really weird flash-backs. Just then, Sam appears, gets him to drop the gun and takes him home.
Oh, my GOD!!! Elizabeth’s apartment is on FIRE right while she’s fallen asleep on the couch!!! She’s all alone and Cameron is sleeping!!!
Jason has collapsed on the street. Sam tries to help him but cannot and calls for help.
