General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 7-Sep-2005

Well, it looks like the two "adulterers" are at it again, both beleiving they have nothing to lose and their marriages are over. But Emily wants to get back with Nikolas. He tells her he cannot and admits he was with Courtney. Courtney is ready to admit to Jax that she slept with Nikolas, he may divorce her or do whatever he wants. But she tells him he will not get custody of their child because his track record for parenthood is no better than hers'. She also tells him he's a fine one to judge her for her "sexual indiscretion" with his wheeling and dealing, and using women. Jax can't let it go. He goes to attempt to "buy" Lucky and Elizabeth. But they say they think he's trash and it's his fault that his marriage ended. Elizabeth tells him that she wants her baby to be in a loving home where mistakes can be made and forgiven and there are two parents who love each other. Looks like Jax does not have much to stand on with THAT.

Emily stands outside the docks knowing Nikolas and Emily are getting it on. Jax sees her outside and "suggests" that they give their spouses a "taste of their own medicine". She hauls off and slaps him and tells him that he is responsible for everything that has happened. She breaks down crying. ANd he puts his arms around her. And she does not fight him.

Sonny has not yet returned from Miami. Ric and Reese are "babysitting" Carly while he's gone. Alexis goes to ask her husband why he's kissing his brother's butt again. She tells him, and Reese agrees, that Carly needs to be in a hospital. But he's just doing what Sonny wants.

Sam gets Jason to believe that he must take his medication and get well because he's all she has. Durant does not believe that Jason really lost his memory and tells him he needs to find Sonny so he will turn Carly over to her daddy. He knows she is not really in Shadybrook and wants to be in charge of her psychiatric care. Monica comes and tells Durant that there is medical evidence of her son's condition. But Durant is hell-bent on taking Carly away from Sonny.
