General Hospital Update for Monday, 12-Sep-2005

Carly has a secret delusion that she's going to remarry Sonny. ANd she's all of a sudden appearing all "happy-happy" now that she seems to no longer be aware of the negative reality facing her that he's ready to move on. Sonny finds out that Jason has no memory of their previous relationship and refuses to kill anybody for him. He returns to Sam and tells her everything is ok because he did not kill anybody. But Sonny has warned Sam, and she tells Jason, that he is in danger. Those Ruiz guys mean business and are ready to come after him and Sonny and the fact that he's lost his memory makes him all the more vulnerable to them.

Strangely enough, Jason remembers very well how to disarm them although he does not remember himself wanting to kill anybody nor does he want to committ murder. ALan tells Monica he wants to perform some sort of brain surgery that might get the "old Jason QUartermaine" back. But she tells him that the surgery is more likely to kill him than accomplish that. ANd she wants to try the drugs because they have much better chance of working although Jason will probably only remember himself as "Sonny's killing machine".

Ric is in the hospital ready to help SOnny and take over Jason's old job if he must. Alexis urges him not to keep putting himself in danger for his brother. But he cannot promise her that he won't. ANd Reese seems to understand his intent better than Alexis does although she is worried he is no match for the Ruiz guys.

Lucky has really had it with Courtney and Nikolas and wonders how they could do this to Emily. He doesn't care about Jax but realizes Jax is within his legal right to take the baby from Courtney after she's cheated on him. But he and Elizabeth have a plan to fight him in court and he reveals he won't hesitate to take his brother's money if need be.
