General Hospital Update for Monday, 19-Sep-2005

Lucky has a trick up his sleeve for Jax. And of course Jax plays right into his hands. NOT as smart as he thought he was. Lucky invites Jax to his home to talk alone when Elizabeth is working. He knows that he can get Jax to say some very hostile, threatening and incriminating things when she is not present. And sure enough, Lucky tells Jax that he does not approve of the joint custody idea and that he don’t trust him. Believing he is alone with Lucky and not on the record, Jax tells Lucky that if he keeps him out of “his child’s life”, then he will drag not only Lucky through the mud, but Elizabeth as well. He will present her as an unfit mother by exposing her affair with Jason Morgan, a known hit man, as well as her pregnancy of Cameron out of wedlock with Zander Smith, another criminal. And he can expose her relationship with Lucky who got suspended from the police department and her choice to have another man’s baby. Right then, Lucky pulls out a hidden tape recorder. Jax asks what he hopes to accomplish by having Elizabeth hear that. Lucky is pretty confident that he’s gotten Jax where he wants him and asks if he really wants his baby’s mother to hate him or for the baby to know what he threatened to do to its mother. But then strangely enough, Lucky goes to meet Elizabeth and tells her that he has agreed to joint custody and he puts her mind at ease. Strange.

Sonny convinces Sam that she needs to let Jason escape by himself. Knowing that Jason does not want to go back to the old way of life as his enforcer and he doesn’t remember anything, he tells her that Jason needs to find his way alone. Sam agrees. But Jason finds it hard to tear himself away from her.

Durant threatens Reese by telling her that he has the evidence needed to put Ric in prison. And he reminds her that a “wimpy little college boy” like him cannot survive in pentonville. He tells her what he wants in order for that not to happen is “having her”. He clarifies that he wants her in his room wearing high heels. She appears and plays the role with the high heels and teddy. She gets handcuffs and tells him she likes to punish bad boys. And she leaves him there and walks out.

Courtney and Nikolas find a private hideaway on an island where they do not have to be in public view.

Carly has lost her frigging marbles. When she notices Emily’s sapphire earrings, she makes nice and asks to borrow them for “the big day” as they are “something blue”. And when Sonny comes home, she has flowers all over their house and wears a white wedding dress. And she’s gotten the idea that they are going to remarry.
