General Hospital Update for Friday, 23-Sep-2005

Today on General Hospital, many emotional moments came to a head! Courtney and Nik finally find a fun, quiet island where they can make love, swim, surf, etc. The only thing is that Courtney gets sick on her tummy. Could she possibly be pregnant with Nicholas's baby? I think it could happen. :- IN the meantime, a crazed Carly has run right in front of Jax's car. Unfortunately, the very pregnant Elizabeth is riding with him. They both faintly see a woman but do not recognize Carly. Sonny quickly takes her away from this devastating scene. He asks Emily and Reese to help him to cover this up. Emily is doing everything for Sonny. Why?( I cannot see a future romance for them.Hopefully, Sonny will reunite with his Carly. PLEASE>>>>)The doc checks a fearful Elizabeth ,and a grateful Lucky takes her home. Lucky apologizes to Jax for coming on too strong. Elizabeth is not out of danger yet. For when she goes to the bathroom, she faints and drops her glass.EM calls Sonny to tell him all is well.AT least, in the hospital, it appeared so.
Reese truly thinks that Sonny needs to quit hiding Carly and get professional help for her.Sonny has promised Carly that he will not commit her to an insane asylum like Shady Brook. His protecting and enabling Carly is failing. She definitely MUST GET psychological help. HEr freaked out behavior is wearing Sonny down. Reese does cover for him when John Durant comes for Carly. Reese shows the off-colored photos she took of John with a prostitute, and John leaves in frustrated anger. Sonny makes fun of him.John warns Sonny that the Luis family from Miami plans to take him out. In fact, Skye comes back on the scene, and Alcazar tells her to leave. Later, Alcazar kisses Skye, and she is really quite astonished.Alcazar tells her that the mob will leave him and his girl alone.HA Harvey ,the bro of the slain mob guy, flirts with Maxie. Maxie is frustrated because it seems as if no one believes that Dillon is innocent . Georgie says that she will continue to clear Dillon's name. The guy who is in charge of the dorm could be planting pictures of naked girls in Dillon's room. Dillon thinks that none of his friends trust him. Dillon may be strange ,but he's not a pervert,I hope.WHy is our Jennifer ( new Carly) leaving GH? This is not a great move! Tune in on Monday to see if Elizabeth will lose "THE BABY", if Maxie will take up with a mobster, if a dismally disturbed Carly will get the professional help she needs, etc.IT should be an exciting Monday!
