It's all about Alexis and Ric. She's had a harrowing week what with having a C-section in a filthy train-car with no anesthetic (besides liquor) and very little professional help. Now it seems she's slowly bleeding to death (emphasis on slowly). She holds the baby and tells Molly her hopes and fears for her and that she hopes that Molly will always remember her somehow. Alexis has time to tell everyone her goodbyes and her instructions for their lives - bossy to the end she is. But seriously, it was all very sweet and emotional. She and Ric tell each other their heartfelt "I love you's" and regrets for being stubborn and detached. So much wasted time!
Robin is broken up about her inability to save Alexis and tries to prepare Ric for the loss. The best to be hoped for is that Alexis will simply fall asleep...
Jason wakes up as Sam, Sonny, and Reese reach him. He tells them that he had been under water but Carly had come and helped him out. Sonny doesn't believe him as he knows Carly is at Roselawn. Jason knows he saw Carly but has doubts about his own memory due to his "condition."
Sam realizes that Jason is getting worse quickly and decides to leave the group to find them a way out. She should know better by now... She soon runs into Manny who has stolen a rescue worker's explosives and is gleefully setting charges about the already unstable tunnels. They go at it kung-fu style and Manny detonates a charge knocking them both out. Sam is going to be the brain-damaged one if she keeps getting knocked unconscious like this.
Emily is thrilled to see Nikolas who had been reported crushed-to-death by one of the myriad cave-ins. She and he have a very tender reunion only to be interrupted by Courtney's need to establish her territory in the Bermuda Triangle of Cassadine affairs.
Ric brings baby Molly to Courtney and asks her to take Molly out now so he can know she will be safe. Nikolas says his goodbyes to Alexis and then leaves with Jax and Courtney. Nikolas wants Emily to come with them but she feels she should stay for her medical "expertise."
Sonny shows up at the train-car and finds Robin. He thanks her for trying to help Jason. Robin informs him that Jason's medicine was in the train-car that blew up and that without it - and maybe even with it - Jason will die. Jason and Reese arrive and Robin is amazed that Jason has survived yet another seizure. She tells him he must have a guardian angel. He knows it was only Carly - and she's no angel.
Lorenzo is taking Carly back to Roselawn thanks to Skye's running interference with Mac. Carly is afraid for Sonny and Jason and wants to go be with her children. She tells Lorenzo about fighting with Manny and how she shot him but Manny just won't stay dead. She actually tries to jump from the car at one point and it takes all Lorenzo's charm to convince her that it is safer at Roselawn than in a collapsing tunnel. At least he decides not to have her medicated at the hospital when they finally get there.
Alexis asks Sonny and Ric to please raise her daughters as real sisters. She wants them raised together, without the distrust and jealousy that Sonny and Ric each feel for the other. They promise to try. Ric sits with Alexis as she telepathically follows Molly out of the tunnel. Once she knows that Jax and Courtney and Nikolas have gotten Molly to safety she loses consciousness. Ric fears she has died on him. The rest of us fear she hasn't.
Meanwhile, Emily is desperately trying to keep Jason alive through yet another seizure when Reese collapses. Poor Reese, no one liked her and now she's dead.
Sonny and Robin go to try and find Robin's briefcase with Jason's medicine. Sonny finds Carly's charm bracelet that he gave to her when he dropped her off at Roselawn. He knows now that Jason was right (Jason's always right). Robin finds her broken briefcase in the rubble. Sonny has to shoot the lock off the case with his last bullet but the medicine is safe. They run into Sam who has inadvertently led Manny to them. Manny is the *****. Best villain in forever. Now our heroic trio are up the proverbial creek - unarmed- when Manny grabs Sam and tells them that no one in the tunnel will see daylight again.
