General Hospital has its most exciting moments of the week. First, we know that an angry Michael has run away from his mom Carly. His basketball tumbles into a frozen river while he is alone at the pier.Fortunately, a lovesick Emily sees what is occurring. Without thinking twice, a brave Emily jumps into the icy water to save Michael's life. When Carly and Sonny appear, they cannot thank the compassionate "lady of courage" enough.Sonny tries to console a weepy Carly. She says: " You always make me feel better."Later though, Carly calls the new doc, handsome, arrogant, Patrick Drake, to come to her home to check on Michael. oops. When Robin appears at Carly's door to want to have a heart-to-heart chat with Carly, Patrick emerges. Thus, Robin thinks the two may have been playing house, and neither Carly nor he says anything differently.Of course, it is obvious that Patrick would like to see more of Robin outside the hospital domain. So she seems a little taken back by this strange scenario. Actually, Robin has pushed Patrick's advances away on several occasions. She even slapped him today for ribbing her too much. Earlier,Robin told Jason that she had to tell AJ about Michael. Jason tells her that she blew Michael's life a part. After their bickering about this horrible revelation from the past, Jason does give her credit for saving his life.Robin tells him that he too was wrong for concealing the truth from Michael.Speaking of the truth, Alexis and Rick try to take Jason's deposition. Alexis surmises that Jason is not revealing much truth and is being evasive about Manny. Alexis warns Jason and tells Sam that he had better come forth with the truth. All an evasive Jason could tell Alexis was:" I don't know."
ONE of the most emotional, touching scenes was at the insane asylum where Laura resides. Lulu goes to see her mother for the first time since she became sick. Lulu sits in the hallway crying as Luke approaches.Imagine how much this impressionable sight can bother a teen. This gives them the ideal chance to have a very heartfelt father-daughter talk. Lulu feels that her grandmother, he, and others have not told her much about her beloved Mom. When Lulu sees Laura just sitting there gazing, it freaks her out. She declares that she will not return to see her beloved mOm again. It is too painful. Luke tells Lulu about incidents that show his undying love for Laura. Luke says sadly: "I will always love her." He does blame himself for Laura's breakdown. He says:" She finally lost her grip on reality, and we had to get help for her." Lulu's worry is that she may become mentally ill like her dear mother. Luke tries to assure her that this will not happen. He says," unlike your mom, you have an assertive spirit. You are a true Spencer." ( I wonder when and how GH writers are going to deal with Laura.)
The most tintillating moment is when Sonny gives that first tender kiss to a shivering Emily. He is thanking her for saving his son. IT was a lovestruck Em who got right in Sonny's face. What is a man to do? :-)A lot of beginnings are in store for the GH families, soooooo please tune in on Monday to get more info about these pivotal moments.
