All is chaos, all is ruin! The virus is running rampant through Port Charles. Lives will be lost, lives will be saved, heroes will emerge and demons shall be exorcised. It is only the beginning
At last count LuLu, Sam, Skye, Nikolas, Sonny, Dillon, and unbeknownst to the rest- Lucky are all down sick. Luke, however, is up again - though tied down at the moment. LuLu went down first and is therefore the sickest. She was delirious with fever yesterday and today is worried she might have embarrassed herself with her ranting. She doesnt want Luke to think she is weak. Liz has been caring for her primarily and assured her that her dad doesnt think shes wimpy - he just wants her better. LuLus fever isnt coming down and everyone is concerned.
Sam thinks shes in Hawaii when she sees Danny at her bedside. Shes hallucinating and Jason is not happy in a situation he cant control. At first Robin thinks the antibiotics need more time to work. Soon it becomes clear that they simply arent working at all.
Skye feels she must be the worst date in the world. She takes a man to bed and ends up in the hospital. Lorenzo is overwhelmed at the situation and takes the first opportunity to lash out at Luke for bringing this down on everyone.
Nikolas is brought in by ambulance early but already the beds are full. He ends up waiting on a gurney in the hallway as he gets sicker and sicker. Liz worries that Lucky was exposed also and he isnt answering his cell phone. She doesnt even know where Lucky is. Nikolas tells her that Lucky went to his cabin to prep it for her surprise weekend. Liz calls Jesse and manages to convince him to go check on Lucky. When Jesse gets to the cabin Luckys cell phone is there - but Lucky isnt.
Sonny is having a fine time with Carly and the boys when he feels faint. Carly insists that he go to the hospital and Michael insists that he go with them. When they arrive they find GH has gone into quarantine. Emily is horrified to see Sonny walk in. Emily sets Sonny up in a room and stays with him while Carly frets. Sonny admits to Emily that the kiss he shared with Carly was a fake.
Dillon is hanging out with the Georgie and Lucas in the cafeteria and trying to reassure Michael that the doctors have everything under control. As soon as he says it he begins to feel sick himself. Soon they are wheeling him to ER. Lucas decides to take this opportunity to tell his dad, Dr. Tony Jones, that he is gay. Hes afraid that if he gets the fever hell begin talking and it will all come out and Tony will be blindsided. Dr. Jones tells him that he is so proud of him for having the courage to tell him this and that he loves him very much.
Luke believed, like everyone else, that the chimp was the culprit in this outbreak. When the chimp escapes everyone panics and Jason takes off after it. Jason finds Carly in the hallway and she joins him in the hunt. They arent there when the chimps test results come back negative. Luke is the carrier after all. Robin breaks the news in the form of 2 orderlies putting Luke in restraints. Robert and Patrick tell Luke that there is good news: he may be able to save everyone with his antibodies, and there is bad news: the process may kill him. Luke says hell do it if it will save LuLu.
Robert holds a news conference telling everyone that GH is under quarantine and no one should come near - unless they are infected. No one will be permitted to leave either -under penalty of death. Jason and Carly follow the chimp outside, however, and are trying to stop the truck the chimp has just climbed into when gunfire breaks out. A black SUV full of men in ski masks is spraying the GH parking lot with bullets. Perhaps Dillons conspiracy theory about the experimental-biological-warfare-gone-awry isnt so farfetched. After all, what is an African chimp doing on an island in the South Pacific? How would Robert Scorpio have gotten there so quickly? And why else would Robert come back after all these years?
Start counting the red shirts
