We tried to tie up a lot of loose ends today--but as usual, more questions were left unanswered. Let's visit Port C!
Things started out with a visit from the green-eyed monster-courtesy of Lucky. As everyone knows, he won't exactly win GH's award for Patient of the Month. He's been awful to everyone, and especially Liz. Oh and don't forget how he's been over-doing it in rehab.
Lucky gets into a wheelchair (doing it too early, I might add) and is the doorway to his room, when he overhears a conversation between Patrick and Liz. Naturally, he's assuming the worst, when Robin walks by. In a nice way, she asks him what the hell he's doing out of bed, when he says "Dr. Drake is going after my wife!" Puhleeze!!!!
As Robin gets him into bed, she tries to educate him and tells him how that Liz has so much on her mind right now that having a little roll in the hay with Dr. D is the last thing on her mind. Lucky's not buying it, and gives Liz the third degree when she comes into his room.
Speaking of Patrick, he's now locked into this insane one-upmanship battle with Noah, who is back at work too soon after his transplant. (Geez, what's with all the alpha males at GH lately??) Noah has now gone from a drunken sot to someone who is trying to outdoctor his son. Patrick tries to get him to put the brakes on, but Noah's not having it. Guess instead of drinking himself into an early grave, he's just going to work himself into one!
Over on the Sonny-Jason front, Michael's surprise birthday party from hell for Sonny is going down at Chez Corinthos. Everybody came, except Jason, (big surprise!!) Sam came, and tried to cover for him with the boys. It actually was very sweet, but was kinda spoiled when Alexis came over at the end and told Sonny that she's caved to Durant and is now the ADA! As you can imagine, it went over like the proverbial lead balloon...
Robert is still hanging out at the Q mansion. He's snooping around, trying to pick up clues to Luke's location, when Robin comes by. In a very touching scene, Robin tries to reconcile. We actually start to think that the hatchet is going to be buried, when Alice spoils the mood-by bringing in Robert's tickets to the Markham Islands.
That's all that Robin needs for her to slam the door shut. After she yells at Robert for leaving again, Robert reminds her that she owns a part of this too--and says that she leads a "cold, frigid life!" I felt sorry for Robin, who's crying at this point. After all, Robert has no idea what she's had to go through, she points out, as she slams the door behind her.
Robert makes plans to go to the airport, while Lulu tries to run interference for her dad--telling Robert that he's now in New Guinea! Robert's not convinced; especially after he gets a report that Holly's escaped from jail!
Robert's words to Robin have stung, and she's going to try and prove him wrong. She goes over to Patrick's apartment and throws herself into his arms, telling him that she wants to go to bed with him and wants to do it now!! (ohhhhkaay!!)
Now to Jax-Carly. While Carly is at Sonny's birthday party, Jax has a crib delivered to her house. He tells the deliveryman it's for John, who's going to be spending a lot of time over there. While Jax is supervising the delivery, Carly gets a registered letter that Jax signs for. Seeing the return address, he opens it and sees a copy of John's paternity test from Mercy hospital, showing Nickolas being his father! Jax now knows that Carly knows the secret--and confronts her with it when she comes home. Carly promises not to tell, but knowing her, probably has her fingers crossed...
Finally, we see the identity of the mystery person who is taking photos of everyone in PC and loading them on a computer. As the camera travels up a set of familiar tatooed arms, we can tell it's Manny! Now we know that he's alive, but still have no idea why he's become such a shutterbug. Guess we'll find out next week!
