General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 23-May-2006

Jason and Elizabeth console each other on the docks. Elizabeth shares with Jason her Lucky troubles, Jason tells her why he left Sam.

Maxie and Lucky dance in Colemans bar, He starts to get into it (the dancing that is), forgetting his problems, but mid spin (no that is not a joke), he hurts himself and goes back to the pills. Maxie is kind of on to his pill popping to dull his emotional pain, but lets the moment go. I think she is a little envious that he has a prescription. He does confide in her about his Patrick/Elizabeth suspicions. He goes back to the hospital to find Liz, and runs into Patrick being cheesy with Elizabeth. As always he jumps to the wrong conclusion, he is totally not a good detective.

Dillon shows up at prom to surprise Georgie, and SUPRISE he sees Diego kissing Georgie and punches him out. Diego is having none of that and it is a ballroom brawl. Diego BASHES Dillon’s head in. Georgie tells Dillon she was kissing Diego because that is what a girl does at the prom, they go at it, in front of the entire senior class. She blows Dillon off, for Diego.

Nicolas takes Lulu to the prom (when it became fashionable to go with your brother to the prom is anyones guess), where Lulu runs into a bloody Dillon, and she is more than happy to help Dillon make a point to Georgie. Georgie sees Dillon and Lulu dancing and then freaks out to Diego about the nerve of her husband, Georgie and Diego leave. Georgie tells Diego that her parents were right, they are too young to be married. Dillon tells Lulu pretty much the same thing.

Carly bad mouths Robin to Jax just as Robin is on her way out of the Metro Court with Patrick - and instead of just letting it go, Robin goes after Carly, The burden of Little John's paternity weighing heavy on her small shoulders. This argument almosts kills the mood with Patrick and that would be a travesty. These two are smoking together and they are being brutally honest about her HIV status, so this story is really getting spectacular.

Sam is truly out of her head, and thinks that she has to go find Jason, to work things out. Alexis is there to help her back to bed. There are some really nice moments between Sam and Alexis. Sam in the middle of her hysteria, gets a bloody nose (might be all the crying post brain surgery) and Alexis starts screaming for a Doctor…..

So it is NOT the secret of Little John’s Paternity, NOT the fight with Carly in the metro court, NOT Patick's ego, and not even Robin's HIV status that gets in the way of the two Doctors doing the deed, it is the BEEPER…it is Sam and her bloody nose, that gets in the way of Patrick and Robin….and it was so good up until the beeper interuptus.

Back at the hospital, Patrick tells Alexis whatever got Sam so agitated it should not happen again. He has sedated her, but she needs to remain calm. Jason sees all this and is beside himself.

Ok so Robin and Patrick are a no go, but there is Jax and Carly, who are hot and funny and genuine together. This Carly ROCKS.

Robin runs into Nicolas on the docks. They wax poetic about Little John, but Nicolas understands why Jax is behaving as Jax is, blurring the lines of reality for Robin.
