Wow! Shows like today make me think that the summer is going to be a hot one in Port C! Here's what went down:
Carly and Jax are busy planning John's christening--but it seems like the former Mrs Corinthos isn't very pleased with the guest list. This is because Jax has invited Alexis, who just happens to be one of Carly's arch-enemies in town! Alexis first thinks that Jax has asked her to be his godmother and hastily accepts, (which causes Carly to almost have a stroke).
Carly hauls Jax off for a private conversation where she sets him straight, then Jax heads back to Alexis and does a tapdance--even though John has a godmother already, we still want you there, yada yada. Alexis still accepts--partly because she and Jax are still great friends and partly to tick Carly off.
What's even more interesting is that Jax also invited Nicholas, which puzzled Nicholas to no end. First, they don't want him anywhere near John and now he's OK? Doesn't make sense!
Meanwhile, back at Kelly's...Georgie runs into Dylan there as he is moving his things out of their room. She's also come to do the same thing. They've both moved back in with their families, as they've come to the same conclusion: they were too young to be married.
As they start talking to each other, they realize that even though they may have been too young, they still do love each other and can't shut their feelings off. Even so, they still have baggage to work out in their relationship--Diego and Lulu, for starters. They decide that they love each other more than ever, and will get an anulment of their marriage--but will continue to date each other exclusively. They walk into the Q mansion hand-in-hand, mostly for Tracy's benefit.
Speaking of the Q mansion, there's a new boarder on the premises: Robert! It turns out that Edward has hired the former super-spy to get Luke out of the house, and is letting him hang his hat there until he does! Naturally, this goes over like a lead balloon with the other mansion residents--except for one. Big Alice now has a new man in her life, and has left Mr. Luke for him!
Meanwhile, on to Robin and Patrick and the eternal question: did they finally do the nasty? And the better question is: what messed it up today?? And the answer is: as things were getting hot and furious (and they actually took some articles of clothing off today, so we're making progress :)) ), there was a loud knock on the door of Patrick's apartment. Before that, everything was held up when Robin actually compared Patrick to Robert!! Hopefully, there will be a better conclusion tomorrow.
Finally, Jason and Sam. Sam is heartbroken over Jason's decision to give her up, due to his life of crime. Desperate, she appeals to Emily and Carly (eww, she really IS desperate), to talk some sense into him so that he will take her back.
It seems like everyone's trying to get to Jason and Carly and Emily are going to have to take a number. First, Liz goes to see him. She asks if he's the one who paid for Lucky's physical therapy and six months rent for their apartment, which he confirms. Liz says that if Lucky had a problem with Nicholas, his brother, paying their bills, he's definately going to have a fit over PC's new Crime Lord doing it! Jason tells her that he feels it's payback for Liz assisting in the operation to save Sam, which was done against hospital orders, etc--and if she had lost her job over it, he definately would have been obligated. Liz accepts, but says now they are definately even and the slate is wiped clean.
Diego is next. He's bringing a dinner invitation from Escobar--but lets slip that if Jason comes, he'll be killed. It goes over like a lead balloon with Jason, who tells Diego that he's showing his disloyalty as he throws him out.
Finally, Emily arrives. She does her best for Sam and tries to convince Jason to go back to her. She's getting nowhere--and as she's speaking, Jason forces her down on the floor--and out of the way of a bullet that went through the window.
Oh and Carly? She didn't even get to Jason's place, because as she was leaving the hospital, Alexis ran into her and asked her not to do it! Don't know what she said, but I'm sure Friday's show will be interesting!
