General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 7-Jun-2006

Lulu has decided to show Luke she is worthy of a good con by blackmailing her own father. She has a note delivered to Luke stating she has his money and to wait for her signal. Luke, of course, is still baffled at who pulled one over on his own heist and is trying hard to figure out who it is. So, he goes to the Haunted Star only to find Lucky having an early morning drink. Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree now does it? Luke lets Lucky in on his scam only to find out that Robert was close by listening to the whole conversation. Tracy shows up and thinks she has it all figured out…Luke robbed himself (duh) and then Robert robbed Luke (and of course Tracy since it is HER money). Sure, Luke goes along with that story line…

Georgie and Dylan were supposed to meet with Justice to discuss their divorce. Georgie gets stood up and Dylan never shows. Georgie is livid when she finds out that he was with Lulu and helping her through yet another dilemma (blackmail). Dylan also is upset to find Diego consuling Georgie at Kelly’s over the whole deal. Georgie then says that maybe divorce isn’t enough; maybe they should be separated permanently. Diego and Lulu hear all of this and are waiting patiently for them to breakup anytime.

Nikolas goes to visit baby John with the growing suspicions that he might still be John’s father. With scissors in hand (ok, in his coat pocket) he pays a visit to John, Jax and Carly. They are thrown off by the visit but let him see John. Nikolas pays someone to knock at the door with a distraction long enough for him to get a lock of John’s hair. He then goes to the hospital and talks to Dr. Lee about having a paternity test done. Nikolas tried to make up a story about a baby in Europe with hired help but it didn’t take long before Dr. Lee knew it was for baby John. She told Nikolas that she also has had suspicions about who John’s real father was based on past charts on John. Nikolas asks to get the ball rolling because John has his christening soon and they don’t have much time.

Emily invites Lainey over for lunch at Sonny’s with an ulterior motive. She stages a family emergency at the Quartermaine’s and leaves the two of them alone to have lunch. Lainey then secretly pokes around at Sonny trying to tell if something is truly wrong with him. Emily returns later to find Lainey and Sonny laughing and having a good time. Lainey’s prognosis was that Sonny was fine and that he just seems to finally be content with his life and is happy with Emily (so stop trying to stir up trouble). After Lainey leaves, Emily talks to Sonny and confronts him about putting a show on for Lainey and manipulating her to believe what he wants. Of course Sonny confronts Emily with the same accusation, manipulating him. Tune in tomorrow…
