Today's episode starts out with Emily requesting that Sonny take charge of his bipolar disorder by continuing therapy and taking his medication as prescribed. If you think that our meek little Emily is begging here folks, you're wrong. She simply states that she has no patience for someone who knows what he has and how to handle it but won't do as he is told. Her whole attitude twas quite refreshing and Carly thought so too! Carly agrees with Emily but questioins why the arguement took place. Sonny expalins that Lainey crossed the line when she asked questions about his abusive childhood. She would not except the excuses Sonny made for his mother's neglectful behavior and neither would Carly. After hearing what Carly had to say about the matter, he realized that his mother should have done more which prompted Carly to tell him he was ready to get better.
Meanwhile, Emily runs to Windemere in hopes of an afternoon of "innocence" and finds Nik ready to take a walk with Colleen and Baby John. Nik, much to Colleen disappointment, give super nanny the afternoon off so he could participte in an innocent walk with his ex-wife. They return with John in Emily's arms. When it is decided that they would walk over to the barn, Em places the baby down and they leave. A jealous Colleen doesn't like the idea of a NEm reunion and makes it look like Emily is a danger to John. When the friendly couple return from their walk, they stumble upon a distraught nanny who claims that Em left John on his stomach and starts ranting about SIDS. Emily freaks and Nik looks sick. It might have worked this time but with Alfred on the case, it's safe to say these two will become an item again.
Let's move onto another musketeer, namely, Lucky…who questions Sam about the missing folder and let’s her know that if it suddenly appeared, no one would be the wiser. Unfortunately, Sam, having a bad day and being slightly snippy, points Mr. Detective man might not have been the one to kill Ruiz. She continues on with the idea that Jason was the killer. This makes a very strung out Lucky pry into the Ruiz folder and find that there were no bullet wounds on the autopsy report concluding that Sam was correct. Someone call Elizabeth and tell her to get ready for yet another disruption in marital bliss.
Elizabeth might not get that call as she was pouring her heart out to Patrick, cause he really needs to deal with someone else’s problems right now as he waits for the results of his HIV test. After hearing the possibilities from Alan, a very worried Patrick asks Robin not to keep popping up but then realizes that she understands better than anyone else. Robin, remember what she couldn’t do for Stone, wants to be there for Patrick and he lets her, expressing his sadness and wishing that she too had options.
Finally, a quick and ridiculous note about Jason and Sam…stuck in an elevator, studying for her GED? Come on…
