General Hospital Update for Friday, 6-Oct-2006

And now it's October! Fall is in the air in Port Charles, along with several juicy story lines--but what else is new, right? Here we go...
Things start out at Windemere, where Nicholas is riding Sheba along the grounds to see if Helena has been around. He doesn't know that he's going to be sabotaged however--from Colleen, the Nanny who has a few screws loose upstairs.
She's having a long talk with Spencer, telling him why she has the hots for Daddy, when she gets a call from Alfred to "Come quick, something terrible has happened to Mr. Nicholas!" After hauling him off to GH, it turns out he's messed up his leg and has a possible concussion. But dear me, it turns out that Sheba's saddle wasn't worn out, but the cinch was cut! Ooops! Who could've done that--and why did we see Colleen in the stables with a knife?? uh huh.....
On to Maxie and Lucky, whose lives are going to get a whole lot more complicated, as we can see. It turns out that Maxie has also taken a home pregnancy test--and guess what, it's positive!! (There's been a whole lot of that going around Port Chuckles lately...) And since there's only one person Maxie has slept with lately, well now we know why she crashed Lucky's rehab room to give him the good news!
And unlike Lulu, Maxie vows to Lucky that she's going to keep the baby and will do nothing to get in the way of him reuniting with Liz. (Yeah, right!)
Robin also made an appearance today. She's grabbed at the docks by some of Alcazar's thugs, who are prepared to make her spill the beans and let them know where Skye is, since Robert had a hand in getting her out of town. The problem is that Robin doesn't know anything and wouldn't tell them if she did, so it's a dead end.
Patrick makes an appearance towards the end of this scene and tries to get Robin to come to Paris with him to meet Dr. Lagrassi. Not only would this further lay the groundwork for the upcoming Luke and Laura story, but it would get her away from Alcazar.
Robert promises to have Robin under his watchful eye while Patrick is gone, which goes over like a lead balloon with her, but he's none too successful. Seems that Alcazar's boys ran into him too at the docks--and did a great job of rearranging his face. Robin finds him at the end of the show, so we need to wait to see what happens there.
Meanwhile, on to Carly. After spending most of the show yelling at Jason for getting Liz knocked up, or so we think, she goes back to Chez Corinthos, where she overhears a phone conversation that Bernie is having.
He's telling the contractors who are fixing Carly's house to drag it out as long as possible, on Sonny's orders! As we all know, Carly is the queen of fighting back, right? So she calls Jax, and tells him that she wants to have a romantic dinner with him--right in Sonny's living room! (He's out of town, right?)
That's everything I can think of that happened. As always, can't wait for Monday!
