General Hospital Update for Friday, 9-Feb-2007

We are well into the hostage crisis at the MetroCourt and things are definately looking grim.
Robin and Alan are barely hanging on to life, and the stress is also taking its toll on Liz, as she is starting to have labor pains.
Help is on the way, however. Jason and Spinelli have made their way into the hotel, followed by Lucky and a determined Luke, who's going to do everything he can to save Lulu.
Craig's prisoners have also started to fight back--no Stockholm Syndrome on this show, right? We first see Sam holding a knife to Craig's neck at the start of the show. Craig talks her out of it, telling her that if she kills him, his agents are prepared to bomb the hotel, taking everyone up with it.
Sonny and Carly are able to overpower an agent; taking his gun in the process. When they pull it on Craig, he takes Lulu hostage (again); telling Sonny that if he pulls the trigger she dies. End of that story and we are back to square one...
Things go from bad to worse for Sam. Craig separates her from the other hostages; wanting "special time" with her. He caresses her face with his gun; taking her jumpsuit off in the process. What a twisted bastard! Right when we think that things are going to get reaaallly ugly, he stops, saying "you think I'm going to rape you, right?"--and then puts her jumpsuit back on before making Sam go out into the lobby with the rest of the hostages.
Sonny's not exactly having a great time of it either. Craig directs one of his agents to kill him, and he is taken into a separate office so the deed can be done.
He doesn't realize that there's a witness to the deed--none other than the Jackal!! Yes, Spinelli has been hiding out there in order to direct Jason to the lobby, via his trusty laptop.
Spinelli is able to hide before Sonny and his guard bust in, but he leaves his gun on the floor.
Meanwhile Maxie and Agent Three are getting to know each other in the vault. The obvious food cravings are starting and the conversation there is about pizza and Philly Cheesesteak. Three starts warming up to Maxie but then does an about-face and tells her to be quiet.
Things warm up again between them, and soon Maxie is blathering on about how she's always had the hots for Lucky, her grades stink at PCU, she's the black sheep of the family and Georgie's perfect and oh yeah, did she forget that she's also a skanky ho?? (just kidding about that part...)
Tension is also building outside the hotel. Mayor Floyd is now on the scene and is demanding results and results NOW from site commanders Ric and Mac. He's telling Ric that if things don't happen fast, he's going to tell the SWAT team to storm the place.
Dylan and Tracy are also outside and are joined by Scotty--who gets a less than rousing welcome! He manages to turn the conversation to Laura and says that even though they were married young and divorced early, he never stopped loving her.
Finally, Craig is starting to flip at the end of the show. Everyone hears a helicopter hovering outside and Craig becomes enraged. He calls Ric and tells him that if it doesn't stop, one hostage will be killed.
And here is where it gets dicey for Em. All of her patients (Robin, Alan and Liz) are in the lobby. They've located a defibillator for Alan and she's trying to jumpstart his heart, when Craig tells her that she's going to choose who dies--Alan or Liz!!!!
Em starts to crumple, saying "He's my father and she's my best friend!!" And we're going to have to wait till Monday to see what happens!!
