General Hospital Update for Tuesday, 13-Feb-2007

Alan comes out, his heart gives out, Emily freaks out, Luke and Lucky bust out, all in a hail of gunfire. Luke and son break their cover (with a chair) and Luke draws the sniper fire while the SWATs get Alan out. Monica gives him the paddles and he's whisked off to GH. Inside, Carly has recognized Jason. Nicholas calms Emily down after her major spaz attack. She freaked out big time (daytime emmy?). Sonny urges Carly to stay calm. She lets him know about Jason. Skye is trying to extract the code from Lorenzo, while the Q's watch the drama unfold on TV.
Spinelli has it bad for Lulu. He's in the room, when she gets tossed in there. He wants to save her, but she won't go. He tells her about Jason, and she wants to help him. She takes the gun and goes back to be the heroine, and promplty gets caught and dragged back to the lobby. Maxie and the bad guy are bonding in the vault. It's the Stockholm Syndrome. Dillon, Tracy and Edward are at GH when Alan arrives with Monica, who calls Skye a lying bitch and spills her mob connection. Then, Dr. M. scrubs in to do the op on Alan, to the protests of Dr. Ford. She's too close, too emotional. Skye goes back to Lorenzo, and badgers him some more about the code. Meanwhile, at the MetroCourt, Mac, Ric, Luke and Lucky are fighting about what to do next. Inside, Liz is in preemie labour and Sam comforts her. Maxie and the perp make a plan to escape together. Tracy and Edward both swear revenge if Alan dies (yeah, we all know he's toast). Skye shows up at the MC and tells Luke about the Equinox briefcase and the code. Luke gets on the bullhorn and tells Craig the same. He offers himself, and the code, in exchange for the hostages. Craig drags Lulu to the door with a gun at her throat, threatening to kill "your daughter" if Luke doesn't give up the code. Luke is bluffing. Oh oh. Meanwhile, Alan takes a turn for the worse on the table. Ford offers to take over. When Alan kicks the bucket, Monica will blame herself, just like Ford said she would. Gotta love this high drama for sweeps week. Emily pulled such a great hissy-fit. Way to go, girl!
