What with all of the developments in Port Charles recently, it's nice to have a week end gently and not with a bang. And that's exactly what happened today.
As things start, everyone is still coming to terms with Alan's death on Monday. Jason and Robin are dealing with misplaced guilt; Jason for rejecting Alan every time he reached out to him and Robin for not being able to give him the medical attention he needed after he had his first heart attack at the Metrocourt.
Robin is mending at the Scorpio house; under the devoted eyes of Patrick and Mac. She keeps telling Patrick she's fine, but Patrick knows better. She talks to Patrick about Alan; remembering how he was the first person who showed her that there was no room for discrimination in medicine in his treatment of Stone and herself.
Robin also remembers floating outside of her body while she was being operated on in the Metrocourt and trying to go and help Alan. She was frustrated with her body for not responding to her brain's commands.
Jason is sharing his feelings with Carly, who tells him that he has nothing to feel guilty for. Sam also tells him that Edward sent her to work on him to come to Alan's funeral on Monday.
Speaking of Sam, she's been invited to New York City to do a news magazine interview on the same day, which she and Jason decide she should do; with Jason going alone to the funeral.
We also keep seeing Sam's interview at the hostage scene being played over and over again, next to a picture of a man. I'm sure this will be a key to a new storyline in the future.
Today's other big developments include Lulu, Dylan and the Rick Webber murder mystery. Lulu is recovering at her grandmother Leslie's house and gets visits from Dylan and Scottie Baldwin.
Luke is not at all pleased that Scottie is now getting to know Lulu, since we all know about the rivers of bad blood between them.
Anyway, things heat up when a mailman delivers a registered letter addressed to Luke at Leslie's house. Dylan notices the return address and tells Lulu that it's from the offices of the Quartermaine lawyers. She rips it open (so much for confidentiality, right?) and discovers that it's from Alan--and it's about the Webber murder!
Finally, Maxie and her developing relationship with Agent Three, now known as Cooper. He's decided that hanging out incognito at the police commissioner's house is not such a good idea after all (almost being busted will do that to you) and has hit the road--but not before Maxie tries to get him hired at the Metrocourt for security!
And we can't let it be Friday without at least one cliffhanger, right? Things end with Patrick being on the phone with the GH lab, waiting to get his HIV results. And we will have to wait till Monday for that one.
And be sure to tune in to this space on Tuesday for Terry's Tuesdays! Can't miss it!
