General Hospital Update for Wednesday, 21-Mar-2007

Interesting day.

Luke, Lulu and Scott all went to Shady Brook to talk to Laura, she did not talk back.....Luke was discussing the impending wedding and the Spencer grandchild. Scott's visit was creepy, he was visiting to let her know that he still loves her, he has agonized over her condition everyday, and he did what he did to Rick to protect her. Lulu happened by Shady Brook to let Laura know that she has fulfilled her wish to prove she did not murder her step father... and of course to discuss whether or not she should tell Lucky the truth about the baby. You knew it was only a matter of time before the writers began to ruin the Lulu character. I get how JMB is an amazing actress and plays to the right demographic audience - but she is now in every scene with every character - whining and telling the same sad story - Should she or should she not kill Lucky's vision of the future and tell him the baby is not his.....She has conveniently forgotten that Lucky chose drugs over his family, nearly beat his wife, framed Jason for a crime he did not commit, slept with Maxie - repeatedly - and in his marital bed and was a slave to the drugs. Instead she would rather blame Elizabeth for a single night, that happened when she and Lucky were broken up....it is starting to get redundant and annoying, but I digress.

Sam gets approached at Kelly's by a young girl and her mother, they recognize her from TV. No, not Dancing with the Stars, her American Heroes spot.....they tell her she is an excellent role model for young women every where and they ask for her autograph. She gives it to them on a napkin. Sam is wrestling with her desire for TV fame in Port Charles and keeping her past as Angela Monroe a secret. She enlists Spinelli to help her cover up the plot to blackmail "Angela Monroe." Spinelli is conflicted, wrestling with helping the "Beautiful Samantha" and the loyalty "Stone Cold" has asked for. For now, he is keeping Sam's secrets, but the Jackyl does not really keep secrets, does he?

Carly is another one....totally out of control. She slept with Jax last night. No snuggles after, she just up and left him. Unplanned, they both end up at Kelly's in the morning....Michael begs Jax to have breakfast with the family and he obliges. It ends up being a really cute family moment and this stresses Carly out. She loves Jax but she loves Sonny too, Jax or Sonny....we should all have such problems.....She runs to Jason to dish on her Jax/Sonny dilemma.....she blathers on and on how she really loves Jax, yet she is still connected to Sonny....she is unrepentant about sleeping with either of them.....Jason tells her to stop making herself miserable and just see what happens, give it all time. Given her love life is a mess, Carly asks Jason to accompany her to Liz and Lucky's wedding tomorrow. Because really -- he is not miserable enough.

Scott has coffee with Bobby and suggests that Lulu is being mean to him because of Luke's evil influence. He has now had this same conversation with the entire Spencer clan....He subtly suggests Bobby talk to Luke, Luke should persuade his daughter to stop her public persecution of Scott, or else. He won't tell Bobby exactly what is going on with Lulu (meaning he has not shared the fact that Lulu knows it was Scott and not Laura that murdered Rick Webber in the attic) but if things don't change soon he will be forced to tell Lulu that Luke raped Laura in the disco way back when.....It looks like he wants nothing more than to ruin Lulu's image of her happy family. Don't exactly know what he thinks he will accomplish in doing this...However, I think Lulu learning this secret is the only thing that is going to force her mouth shut over the Liason baby.....so as loathsome as this seems, bring it on Scott.

Alcazar and Sky run into Sonny at the docks.... Sonny warns them to stay off his turf, big warning from Sonny...you know if you play with fire prepare to be burned. We learn that Sky is trying to run the Alcazar "business" because "Sonny has taken enough from you already"....and we see that Alcazar is faking the extent of his injuries and is planning to bring Sonny down and soon.....it appears as if he is keeping the extent of his recovery a secret, even from Sky, so there is going to be a showdown with Lorenzo and Sonny....and you know Sonny is not going anywhere.

Tomorrow's coming attractions have Lulu plotting to tell Lucky the truth, Elizabeth is in tears with Emily right before the wedding....Emily suggests "If you don't want to do this, now is the time to say something"......and Lucky is trying to get Nicholas to come to the wedding but does not realize that Mr. Craig is holding him hostage.
