General Hospital Update for Thursday, 22-Mar-2007

Holy bitch slap batman. The ever evil Maxie is taunting Lulu at Kelly's, Lulu has had MAXed out on Maxi and her nonsense, so Lulu backhands her, I swear - she seriously slaps her. It was priceless. Maxie does however notice when she berates Elizabeth to Lulu, Lulu is less protective of Elizabeth than normal, this gets Maxie thinking Liz's halo is starting to fade.... Maxie is now a shark in chum filled water...she knows something big is up, she just needs to figure out what Lulu is hiding. She tries to discuss this with Cooper....but so far he is just another pretty face, he has nothing of value to add.
Speaking of pretty faces...today is the start wedding and while Elizabeth is getting ready and she is crying. Emily enters and suggests if she is this upset, perhaps the wedding is not such a good idea. Elizabeth thinks it is simply nerves and wants to move forward with the wedding. So game on. To deflect this discussion, Liz asks Em what is up with Nicholas. Neither realize the ever noble Nick is protecting friends & family from Mr. Craig. Craig is still holed up at Wyndemere, where he has now run into a very suspicious Alexis. Mr. Craig is blackmailing Nicolas in an effort to build a new identity so he can be rich and leave PC. Mr. Craig forces Nicholas to stop pushing people away, he won't be killed so long as he behaves as people expect him to....so Nick goes to the wedding only to find Emily not there, but it is Lucky's day and he is thrilled that Nick made it....but can you believe Emily has left her best friends wedding to take care of someone at the Hospital....I mean one would certainly think the hospital can take care of a patient without Emily....but apparently the second year intern is the only physician on call.
Spinelli accompanies "the blonde one" to the wedding of "the betrayed one", to ensure "Stone Cold's" secret is kept....isn't speaking like Spinelli fun?
Lulu does get a moment alone with Liz, and as she is about to go off on her (I say again, the self-righteous Lulu is grating on my last nerve) Leslie, Audrey and Bobbie come in to get the wedding started. So as much as Liz knows something is bothering Lulu, she starts down the aisle with Lulu as the maid of honor.
Thursday's final moments of the show, you see Luke and Tracy together, Tracy is going to help Luke get through the ceremony (and even feed him 5 minutes after the I Do's). Jason is sitting with Carly under the guise of protecting her from doing something stupid at the wedding, and cute little Cameron walks down the aisle right before Liz.....Friday's coming attractions have the minister asking "if anyone can think of why these two should not be wed, speak now or forever hold their peace" and surprise you hear Lulu's only real lines of the week "how can you build a life together when you start that life with a lie"....you see Jason's horrified face and you can see Maxie outside the Spencer home, watching the ceremony unfold.
