General Hospital Update for Friday, 20-Apr-2007

Sam escapes not one, but two brushes with death on the Everyday Heroes' set; Patrick and Robin are together again and Lucky is starting to smell a rat! And did I forget that Carly and Jacks are FINALLY planning their wedding? What a Friday!
We start off on the Everyday Heroes' set, where Sam is taping her first shows; looking stunning in front of the camera, I might add.
While this is going on, as we know, Amelia is telling her production assistant her connection to the plot to bring Sam down: she is Bill Monroe's daughter, one of the men that Samantha married, conned and killed.
As she is speaking, a studio light falls to the floor, and Sam manages to get away just in the nick of time. Amelia actually warns her in the nick of time and runs over to Sam.
Sam, plucky as usual, is OK, and tells Amelia and the crew that she wants to finish the shoot as scheduled. Amelia tells her assistant to find out who hung the light and have them fired.
It gets more complicated, however. The assistant tells Amelia that the lighting director said that the light was deliberately loosened! Are there two people trying to bring Sam down, or is Amelia just covering?
Afterwards, two of Alcazar's thugs visit the set and tell Sam that they want her to give a message to Jason--who just happens to show up at that point. Guns are drawn, and shots are fired at Sam, who is pushed out of the way by Jason. Brush with death number two for Ms. McCall!
Meanwhile, on to Robin and Patrick. Patrick snuck out to Windemere and was able to hear enough to figure out the situation with Mr. Craig. He snuck up on Craig and proceeded to knock the stuffing out of him, but Craig got the upper hand, and was returning the favor when Robin and Nicholas broke it up.
Patrick now knows everything--and Robin insists that he can't bring in the police or Nicholas will soon be dead. Patrick and Robin reconcile and Patrick is now totally involved. Hopefully they will find an antidote soon for the poison in Nicholas' system.
Lucky comes home after working late, and apologizes to Liz over not being able to pick up Cameron's Choo-Choo Charley toy from the repair shop. Liz tells him not to worry--that she and Cam ran into Jason at the park and he carried the toy home for them. Lucky says that Jason seems to show up an awful lot when Liz and Cameron are in town and has helped them alot.
After Liz looks like she's about to have the baby there, (guilty, guilty!!), Lucky says "What do you think about asking Jason to be the baby's godfather?" Wow.......That's going to be tough!!
Finally, Carly and Jacks. As we know, Sonny has signed the divorce papers, and the happy couple sets a wedding date, for next Friday.
A whirlwind of planning starts. Carly is working on her wedding dress and Jacks is asking Alexis to be his best person (she agrees). Carly is also going to be sending her color swatches for her dress, which should be good...
Carly finally realizes at the end of the show that today is Sonny's birthday and feels guilty, because both boys will be spending the weekend with their friends. She goes over to the Coffee warehouse to say Happy Birthday in person and has good timing, because Sonny was about to break down and have a drink.
And with that, we have to stay tuned for Monday!
