And it finally happened. Jacks and Carly tied the knot and are now husband and wife! And as Carly said, nothing bad happened! (yet...)
We start off at the wedding. The crowd is starting to wonder if Carly is actually going to be a runaway bride, as it's getting late and the show should be getting on the road.
Jason does his job and gets Carly to the church (better late than never) and the procession starts. Carly straightens herself and takes Jason's arm, when she sees Sonny, who is walking by her on the way to the guest seats.
The wedding does go off without a hitch--even though Liz has to go outside for air (the baby will be coming any day now, Lulu kicks her spud salad (Dylan, Spinelli and Milo) outside and Robin and Patrick have a secret tryst. Did I forget to say that Mr. Craig, aka Jerry Jacks, is also outside? He's checking out the action by a window.
On to the reception. The highlight of it for me was when Ned made everyone at the Q's table pay up on the little wager they made: that Carly wouldn't do it and would go back to Sonny. Even Big Alice had to cough it up!
Pretty ho-hum reception. Carly threw the bouquet, which was caught by Lulu and Jacks threw the garter, which landed on Jason's table. Jason wound up giving it to Spinelli.
Spinelli tried to cash in by dancing with Lulu, but the other two were having none of it.
Sonny left the reception early, since being a good sport was getting to him, and wound up in a hotel, where he ordered a case of Scotch and from what it sounded like on the phone, a hooker. There's a knock on the door and it's Amelia Jaffre, the producer of Sam's show! Very interesting...
Our cliffhanger? Jack's cellphone rings and it's Jerry/er Mr. Craig, with best wishes. Jacks figures out that he's hearing the same music on Jerry's end as he's hearing--and realizes that Jerry is there! We'll have to wait till Monday for that one!
