General Hospital Update for Friday, 6-Apr-2012

Ever hear the old saying "April showers bring May flowers?" In Port Charles' case, it's "April bombshells bring May bombshells!!!"
What happened today? Let's see...Connie is certainly being a busy little bee; Liz and Ewen have a third wheel on their date and Kate's horrified; Maxie's future is growing dimmer by the second, but an unlikely pair is working together to rescue her and Sam has also teamed up with an unlikely ally to prove that she's not carrying the child of Satan, er, Franco.
Starting off with Connie, we see that she's hitting on every eligible man in Port Charles--and Kate is non the wiser.
She's already tried to pick up Steve Webber (nice taste, btw) and has moved on to Ewen!! Who's right in the middle of his dinner date with Liz at the Metrocourt Restaurant.
While Liz in the powder room, Connie not only sits in her seat, but proceeds to give Ewen a foot job!! Ewwww.. In the middle of the restaurant!! (double ewww..)
She not only doesn't get up when Liz comes back, but starts asking her about sex with the doctor and starts eating Liz's dessert!!
Liz decides to make a graceful exit, when Ewen tells Kate to take her body back and come out!!
Kate makes an entrance and is naturally horrified over the lates thing that Connie has done. I think someone's headed for the Shadybrook Hilton, don't cha think?
On to Maxie, who's meeting with Alexis at the PCPD. She's now in a jail uniform, so she's fully processed into the system.
Alexis is trying to mother her, but Maxie isn't buying it. She wants no appeals and wants to go straight to prison for killing Robin, Lisa Niles and First Officer Briggs--even though there's no proof that she did it!
What Maxie doesn't know is, is that Matt and Spinelli have decided to bury the hatchet and work together to clear her of all charges.
They come up with one conclusion: since Ewen has been identified as the mystery man who rescued Liz from the water at Spoon Island, it's wierd that he just left her--which leads Spinelli and Matt to believe that he could also be a suspect! Interesting theory...
Meanwhile, there's another totally unlikely alliance forming: Sam and Lt. McBain.
She opens up to McBain about the whole Franco mess and how Jason and Franco are twin brothers who could share DNA--meaning that she could still be having Franco's spawn!!
McBain offers to pull strings at the FBI to see if anyone's got any of Franco's DNA sitting in a case file. If they do she can have it tested and the case would potentially be closed.
Will Kate and Connie ever integrate and be the same person? Will Ewen spill what he knows about the night Lisa was murdered? Will Matt and Spinelli ever be able to free Maxinista? Stay tuned!
