General Hospital Update for Thursday, 28-Jun-2012

Busy day in Port Charles! Let's see: Christina and the rest of the Mob Princess crew think they're going to get a big scoop at the courthouse, but are sadly mistaken; Maxie confronts Patrick about what she found in his bathrobe pocket; Starr is making plans to sing at the reopening of the Haunted Star and couldn't be happier; Sam is getting close to Todd Manning--and Heather is none too pleased!
Starting off at the courthouse, Kate, Alexis and Sonny have arrived for Kate's arraignment in the deaths of Cole and Hope.
They have company. Trey, a smirking Christina and the rest of the Mob Princess production crew are also on the scene.
Christina confronts Sonny; asking him who he's killed now in front of the cameras. Aghast, Alexis and Sonny try and stop it, but Trey has to stick his two cents in, saying he was promised full access, yada yada yada.
Kate pipes up and says no, Sonny is not being charged with a crime, she is! A stunned Christina listens to her account of the deaths of Cole and Hope and tries to get the cameras to go off, but Trey isn't having any of it. Thankfully, they were not let in the courtroom!
On to Patrick's house, where Maxie asks him about the pills she found in his bathrobe pocket. He gets very defensive and tells her that they are just for headaches and the reason they aren't labeled is because he had the nurses give them to him from the GH pill closet. (Put it this way: if any nurse actually did that in real life, they would lose their license!!)
He grabs the pill bottle back from her, but not before one falls on the floor. Maxie picks it up and you know she's going to have it tested by the lab!
Over at the Haunted Star, Starr is rehearsing for the big reopening. She's in great voice and couldn't be happier.
She sings for a pleased Johnny and Michael, who tell her that she deserves this and they couldn't be more pleased. Looking forward to the big night!
Speaking of Mannings, let's now talk about Todd, who's finding life at the Port Charles Sun a little more than he bargained for.
After a stunned Heather discovers who his new assistant is, she confronts her boss in his office--not realizing that Sam is listening outside!
Heather tells Todd that Sam is a PI who's not only working with Spinelli, but she's in a great position to find out the whole story of what really happened to her baby!
Todd is trying to cover it up, but I do think that Heather got to him.
Heather stalks out, after she discovers Sam listening at the door. Sam tries to cover it up by saying that she was just getting ready to knock, but Todd gives her the rest of the day off.
Sam tells Spinelli back at the office that she does think that Manning is on to her!
Will Mob Princess actually make it on the air? Will Sam find her son? Stay tuned!
