General Hospital Update for Friday, 27-Dec-2013

Well! It seems like if this episode is any indication, that Port Charles is going to have a population explosion in 2014!
Let's see: Dante and Lulu have decided that they are going to try for another baby--the only mistake they're making is having Britt as their OB! (I guess they just have to learn the hard way). Sabrina is feeling nauseous, and of course BFF Felix puts two and two together and states the obvious: that SHE could be preggers. (Looks like Patrick is going to have that other baby after all...)
And speaking of Patrick, he tells Robin that THEY should try for another baby next year! (Maybe he won't have to worry about it??)
Almost forgot to mention that Maxie summoned Felicia, Mac and Robin to her apartment to give them the results of a life-changing decision she's made!
Starting with Maxie, she has summoned her family to tell them that she is leaving Port Charles to find herself; calling it an "Eat, Pray, Love" journey. (Where is Julia Roberts when you need her?)
As we know, Kristen Storms, the actress who plays Maxie, is about ready to have her own baby, so I am sure this is to start her maternity leave on the show.
Back to the show, Mac doesn't understand the reason that Maxie needs to go and tells Felicia that there's food to eat, people to love and churches to pray in in Port Charles, but Felicia tells him gently that that isn't the point for Maxie.
Maxie has one last thing to do before she leaves, and heads over to Dante and Lulu's to say goodbye.
What she doesn't know is that Dante and Lulu have bravely decided to start over and try for a baby again!
Hopefully she will do everything she can to get them NOT to use Britt as their doctor!! The only reason Britt is so keen to make them parents is because she thinks that then they won't come looking for Ben, as we all know that Ben is genetically their son; thanks to Britt stealing their embryos and implanting one in her own uterus.
Meanwhile, over at Sabrina and Felix's apartment, Sabrina is stunned to see Felix back early from his holiday visit to Chez Dubois in New Orleans.
Felix is also NOT happy to see a wounded Carlos sleeping in his bed, and makes Sabrina spill. She tells him everything about how he was shot, and a horrified Felix demands that she call the police. (as if THAT ever did any good in Port Charles, lol!!)
Sabrina runs to the bathroom and is sick during this and tells Felix that it must be due to all of the stress that she has been under.
Felix, however, sees it differently, asking Sabrina if she could be pregnant! You could see the lightbulb switch on in Sabrina's eyes!!
Finally, Robin leaves Maxie's place and comes home, where Patrick asks her if THEY can try for another baby!
Who will have a baby and who won't next year in Port Charles? Stay tuned!
