General Hospital Update for Friday, 17-Jan-2014

Busy Friday today! What happened? The big news is that Lucas, Bobbie's adoptive son, is back in town--but doesn't know that Bio-dad Julian is alive (ouch!); AJ is starting to have more flashbacks about the night Connie was murdered, which could be bad news for Ava and speaking of all things Jerome? Olivia has inherited Connie's half of the Metrocourt--and starts her reign off by kicking out the Port Charles Sun (Julian's paper) AND Julian from his room in the hotel! (Don't mess with Olivia!!)
Almost forgot to mention that Heather is still holding Carly hostage, but it looks like the PCPD will finally be moving on the case!
Starting off with Lucas, we see his arriving at Carly's house, where Bobbie and Lulu are staying. Everyone's glad to see him, most of all Bobbie, but everyone's skittish about telling him that Julian, aka Derek Wells, aka bio-Daddy, is very much alive--and IN Port Charles!
Bobbie and Luke think that at least Julian doesn't know that Lucas is alive, but they are very much mistaken. When Julian first found out that there was a possibility that he had a son, he checked it out and bingo! there he was.
Julian tells Ava that he's traced Lucas to Seattle and he's heading there to find him. Hopefully they stay on opposite coasts!
Over at the Q's mansion, AJ is downing his third vodka and orange juice of the morning. As he guzzles the booze down, he's having flashbacks of the night Connie was murdered, which stop right before someone (the real killer?) gets on the elevator at the hotel. Could it be Ava? I think so!
And Olivia? She is now a half owner of the Metrocourt after Connie left her part of the hotel to her. She starts things off by kicking Julian, Ava and the Port Charles Sun to the curb!
Olivia shows a stunned Julian the clause (and there's always a clause, right?) in his lease that says the owner can kick a tenant out if there is suspicion that they are committing illegal activities. (Duh!!)
Finally, on to Carly and Heather. Yes, Carly is still being held hostage by Port Charles' resident loon at the Q's boat housem but it looks like help could finally be on the way.
Michael finally convinces Scott to issue a warrant for Franco's arrest in Carly's disappearance (we all know that he didn't do it), but Luke, who goes to the boathouse to kill a racoon for Tracy, actually finds a tied and gagged Carly! Yay!
Will Luke be able to rescue Carly? (And will Carly give him a better suite at the Metrocourt?) Will Julian find Lucas? Will AJ remember the details of the night Connie was killed? Stay tuned!
