Prospect Park Networks declared bankruptcy, filing for Chapter 11 recently, owing ABC $1.7 million. The company’s lawsuit against ABC continues, with higher stakes. Source: L.A. Times, March 10, 2014
ABC doesn’t care about Prospect Park’s problems. It demands all the money owed from licensing its canceled soaps, AMC and OLTL, suing to “recover all unpaid Series Fees owned up to and through the date of the trial of this action as a result of Prospect Park’s failure to pay in breach of the License Agreement,” according to the network’s cross-complaint filed last week. –Deadline.com article by Dominic Patten, March 12, 2014
