the writers are actually trying to incorporate history, I could see where they might be going with this. She did go through a lot with Lucky and his addiction. If it is just being used to provide a reason for Finn and Elizabeth breaking up, I think they could have come up with something else. One of my favorite stories with those two was when she helped him with the Peter situation. They worked together to handle the situation, which going that route would seem more likely for her. Maybe the past with Lucky is playing into this. I just think the approach was too strong and lacked her usual compassion. I think you can still convey the same thing but present it differently, or offer another solution just to get everyone through the night after such a traumatic event. Concern for Violet and for Finn would be completely understandable. I hope they eventually work on this together whether as a couple or as good friends. Maybe this could be a good story with a variety of emotions and solutions involved.
