It was so unnecessary. My girl had it all under control. She could've dumped Finn on her own and then bumped into Jason afterwards if they wanted a Jason/Liz moment. I'm glad that Liz did dump him because she has to protect herself and her sons from toxic behavior. If Finn was saying he needed help or choosing to get help, I believe she would've been by his side 100%. But he's not and she is not obligated to take any man's crap because he's "grieving" or because "he was there for her once".
